Sound of the mobile GSM 900Mhz band (received at Indiranagar zone, Bangalore)
Part of a series of sound based works that explores alternative ways of cinematic narration as text. The entire script of the film, The Matrix, was encoded using Audio Frequency Shift Keying, and transmitted as a sound signal on an FM frequency, to be later received on a radio. The received sound was decoded as a real-time display of the film as text, in a remote location.
